This was ins’t easy so I’ll get right to it: Chris’s last day at Ampell Barbershop will be November 2nd.

Chris is leaving the shop to pursue a full-time job opportunity (non-barbering) in Fairport. This opportunity aligns with his interests, skills and what he’s looking for in his next chapter. At this time any barbering in the future for him is still up in the air. If you’d like to keep in touch with him, he can be reached at his email chirs@ampellbarbershop.com and will likely have access to this email past November 2nd.

I’m super excited he has found an opportunity to pursue outside cutting that he’s stoked about and the universe is guiding him to go pursue.

I can’t believe it is almost 7 years ago he wandered into the basement (and refused to leave) looking for a place to cut. Chris is an incredible barber, amazing person and has been invaluable to building Ampell to what it is today.

Most importantly he’s a great friend to all of us and touched our lives in a positive way – We love you Chris!!!!

I have been working for the past year on getting someone else in these shop. Ironically that person agreed to join the shop shortly before Chris let me know he was leaving. But more on that free agent signing later.
